Hello Everyone,
I’m back from Greece and catching up with
folks on their news and winnings at
Regionals. A call from my friends at Double
A Arabians gave their news this month. Ryan
De Adder took a Championship in HA/AA Hunter
Pleasure AT on his new horse GV Citron Ella,
Laura Fontaine took HA/AA Hunt Seat Eq
Championship on Executive Power and Reserve
went to Brenna Pugliese on Just a Plain
Lady. Sarah Tasker-Jackson took a Reserve in
Show Hack and Dressaage TR AT on “Riley”.
Also, congratulations to Amanda Baldwin for
a Hunter Pleasure AT Championship on KA
Khameo Bey; Cheryl Lane-Caron for a
Res.Native Costume on Symphony RB, and
Kristie Stevens on English Pleasure Jr Horse
Ch. On Extremely Noble for the Carpinella
family, RickThell on Fantastic Colors Res.
Ch in Dressage T Level, Caitlin Burns on Alf
Reiner in Dressage 2nd Level Congratulations
to all the winners!
Kathy Nickerson has been faithfully turning
in her Year End Awards Point Recordings. Her
latest points were for Sam J Steppin Out &
Charlie Ethier taking the Reserve Champion
in Country English Pleasure at the East
Coast Champion Show in Lexington, VA. Sandra
Crowe and Doinit Allon Style+/ is
accumulating her points too. I know there
are a few more people who need to get all
your point recordings in to AHANE. The
Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet was a
great party with lots of big ribbons and
awards last year. We’d like to reward you
again for all your show efforts this year,
but only if you send your point forms in
now!
It is not a question of IF changes will
occur in our lives, but rather when and how
often they will occur. It’s been two great
years and two great “Big Money” shows.
However, I’m still working and traveling and
really do not have enough time to devote to
the job of President and Show Manager, so I
need to step aside for someone else to take
the reins. Also, Don Dawson says that he
will not be running for re-election. I will
be putting together a ballot for elections
about the time this newsletter comes out, so
please contact me asap, if you are
interested in running for an Office or
member of the Board of Directors. My phone

I took a look as some of the Dressage photos
that Kris Farren took at the Dressage Ring
and included a few here for your enjoyment.
